Elaborately designed and brass-inlaid, three-sided disply case with tortoiseshell marquetry and rich bronze ornamentation. Cast front with white enamel cartouches, Roman numerals and blued iron hands. Large spindle movement with 8-day running time, half-hour striking on bell and thread suspension of the pendulum. The movement is signed Canier à Paris. Restored, supplemented, age-related damages. Movement in good condition, no guarantee.
