Handwritten letter signed by Richard Wagner, dated 25 July 1873 in Bayreuth. The letter, addressed to ‘Friends and Patrons,’ provides information about the preparations for the stage festival theatre in Bayreuth and announces that on Saturday, 2 August, the lifting beam will be placed on the roof truss of the stage building. Silver frame with agate decoration, Italy, 20th century.
