On a flared foot, three putti form the shaft, supporting the flat bowl. On the centre of the bowl, a relief medallion depicting ‘The Sacrifice of Love’ (Sacrifice de l’Amour et de la Vestale) after Clodion, with two raised handles adorned with grapes. Slightly worn, with minor scratches.
