Firegilt bronze case with lion mascarons, ram heads and vase finial, partially openworked and backed with green fabric. Domed enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic minute track (the dial minimally damaged) and decorated hands. Large Parisian movement with 8-day running time, lever escapement, half-hour striking on bell, signed ‘Etienne Le Noir AParis’ (1699 - 1778 Paris), thread suspension of the pendulum. Restored, supplemented, movement not tested for functionality.
