Tibet or Mongolia, 18th cent.
H. 12,4 cm
Seated astride her mule trotting over the sea of red coloured blood scattered with body parts and encompassed by a mountain range, her right hand raised originally holding the club while her left is supporting the kapala, wearing tiger-skirt, wide-sleeved mantle, scarf, bejewelled, her face displaying a ferocious expression with bulging eyes below raised eyebrows, her red coloured flaming hairdo secured with a tiara and decorated with skulls, resealed.
An important private collection from southern Germany, assembled between 1956 and 2007, collection no. 20076, acquired according tradition from Macht in Munich, June 1990 - Wear to gilging, slightly chipped, one leg with repaired break
