AN EMBOSSED PARCEL GILT SILVER KAPALA ON STAND

The high octagonal-shaped base is decorated all around with a scrolling tendril design, its top with further flowers, surmounted by the triangular-shaped kapala support interlinked with severed heads, supporting the separate hammered skull-cup and topped with the cover, the latter ornamented with scrolling tendrils and topped with the half-vajra emblem.
