Separate stand with two decorative lacquer panels depicting fish on gold lacquer ground, the corpus with three drawers, three niches behind sliding doors and two shelves with hinged doors. The door fronts with detailed inlaid decoration of various floral sprays and birds on gold ground. One central panel is decorated with a figural scene of a Samurai kneeling in front of a ruler. Details inlaid in ivory, mother-of-pearl and horn. On top a dragon-carved and pierced pediment.
