Gilt metal repoussé case featuring a historical scene, smooth, gilt metal inner case. Skeletonised champlevé dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, and ornate hands. Fire-gilded spindle movement with an ornately openwork spindle bridge, silver regulating disc, cut movement pillars, chain and fusee. The movement is signed: Smiht London. Age-related damage, restored; the movement starts running, no guarantee. Total weight approx. 122g.
