Red leather case, contents incomplete, 30 cabochon-cut gemstones, each measuring ca. 2 x 1.7 cm (agate, jasper, tree stone, marble, blood jasper etc.). Shows signs of age.

The central recess in the case features a slot for a ring setting. Originally, it was a so-called ‘ring and gem’ case, with the various stones serving as interchangeable inserts for the central ring.
