A giltwood centre table, a giltwood sofa and a set of 12 chairs from the royal house of Württemberg
Stuttgart, circa 1820, probably after a design by Nicolaus von Thouret
With inventory labels and “Krongut” brandmarks
Almost certainly delivered circa 1820 for the refurbished apartments of William I of Württemberg at the Stadtschloss Stuttgart and thence by descent. Recorded in the Stadtschloss on 6 October 1891.
