Thailand, 19th ct.H. 30 cm, D. 21 cm
The cylindrical container placed on a flat base, the underside engraved with a lion within a diagram, the side embossed with rectangular cartouches containing each an animal, bird or figure, all enclosed by scrolling tendrils and the domed top with a mythological animal as grip surrounded by several concentric rows of curled motifs.
