Standing with legs crossed on a high lotus-pedestal, his hands originally holding the flute, wearing short dhoti tied around the waist with a belt, pair of shoes finely decorated with a pin between his large and next toes, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with almond-shaped eyes, aquiline nose, smiling lips, pierced elongated earlobes and his hair combed into an intricate knot on top of his head.
From a private collection in southern Germany (Formerly the J. R. Belmont von Rickenbach Collection, acquired in Asia in the 1940s), received by inheritance in 1985
