Navy blue satin silk embroidered with colored silk in satin stitch. Frame and lining: silk. The two embroideries are designed in the style of 18th c. military rank badges with a lion and a panther respectively sitting on a rock in the center and gazing up to a sun in the clouds. Tall pines or flowering trees and plants grow on side rocks, and waves represent the sea below. Near the lion flutter three bats with treasures. Addtional: Blue-gray satin silk embroidered with flowering peony and singing bird. Textile frame and lining silk. Somewhat faded.
