Three fanciful trees are arranged on a yellow-green-olive background, the two outer ones with climbing plants that spread their long flower spikes beyond the trees. Various birds can be seen in the trees. Two women are assigned to the left half of the picture, one of them sitting, leaning against a large cushion, on a magnificent pedestal and feeding four hens and a proud cock with her left hand.
