The domed shaped bell section is cast with a double row of lotus petals along its lower part, the ornate lotus petal upper section is supporting a separate cast rampant lion with both front legs raised upwards, his head showing horns, pricked ears, bulging eyes, a tilted nose and a roaring mouth, his body bejewelled, curving tail and his head is topped with a looped ring attached to a chain continuing into a hook so that it could be hung in a temple.
