C The sound blown is called the voice of the Dharma. The mouthpiece of this instrument is very elaborately and artistically crafted. Immediately above the mouthpiece itself are several ribbon-like rows of carefully worked floral ornaments, the lower end is formed by a wreath of lotus leaves, the upper wreath is entwined with two dragons playing with pearls. Snail shell, mouthpiece: cast bronze, fire-gilt; the bell is missing.
