Description:
South-India, nayak period, ca. 18th c.H. 16 cm
Standing in tribhanga on a lotus base placed on a square plinth, her raised right hand holding a lotus flower while the left is stretched downwards along her body, wearing sari secured with a belt around her hips, a pair of sashes falling down her legs, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression with almond-shaped eyes below arched eyebrows and her head topped with the kiritamakuta.
