Burma, Mandalay period, late 19th c.H. 78,5 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a shaped plinth with his right hand lowered in bhumisparshamudra while the left is resting on his lap, wearing monastic garment including uttarasangha and samghati covering his left shoulder, its border lavishly inlaid with mica and stones, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, elongated earlobes touching his shoulders, his curled hairdo continuing into the ushnisha and secured with a band set with mica and stones.
