Myanmar/Burma, mid 20th c.85 x 160 cm
Cotton fabric, sequins, strings, metal thread, embroidery and appliqués, wadding. The hanging shows a reclining white elephant (hsinphyudaw) worshiped by several people under a canopy in two rows, and flying Apsara on the sides.
