75 x 71 cm (89 x 85 cm)
Fragment of a square Ningxia carpet. Wool (beige, graduated shades of blue). Border and back: blue fabric with woven dragon medallions. The seat rug features a medallion of a pair of opposing dragons stylized in the form of angular spirals (leiwen). Similar dragons also fill the corner spandrels.
