An incomplete set with 93 of the original 100 stereoscopic photographs of China, taken by the American photographer James Ricalton while travelling through China from Hong Kong to Beijing via Canton, Shanghai, Ningbo, Suzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Yantai, and Tianjin in 1900. All stereoscopes are numbered and feature captions in six languages on the reverse. Including a wood stereoscope with movable handle.
