Description:

Tibet, 18th c.
H. 10/ 21 cm
Seated in vajrasana with her right hand in a form of abhayamudra resting on the right knee while the left is raised in front of her breast, wearing sari finely inlaid with partly gilt scrolling tendrils, scarf floating around her body, her face displaying a severe expression, her hairdo combed backwards forming a big tress on her right shoulder and secured with a tiara, set on an associated gilt-bronze throne.
