Silk damask (imperial yellow), lining: red silk. The robe is made of a precious silk damask dyed imperial yellow with a large lotus vine pattern. This sleeveless robe is not one of the traditional priestly robes, but was used by high-ranking dignitaries. Due to the collar construction and sleeve cutouts, it could have been intended for a lady as well.
