Tibet, 16th c.H. 24,2 cm
Seated with legs crossed on a lotus base, his right hand holding the vajra while the left is resting on his lap supporting the kapala, wearing various garments including a mantle covering both shoulders and incised with a variety of designs, his face displaying a serene expression with open eyes, smiling lips, elongated earlobes with floral-shaped ornaments and his head topped with the specific bonnet, the reverse of the base with inscription stating ‘Honouring U.rgyan Rin.po.che (Padmasambhava). The presented figure….. Happiness’, resealed.
