Description:

Seated in vajrasana on a separate cast lotus base, his principle hands in anjalimudra while both secondary hands originally holding attributes, wearing dhoti, scarf draped around his shoulders, antelope-skin draped over his left shoulder, bejewelled, his cold-gilded face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, raised urna, elongated earlobes with pierced ear ornaments, his blue coloured hairdo combed in a chignon topped with the head of Amitabha and secured with a five-leaf tiara, sealed.
From an old and important German private collection, collected between 1950 and 1987, collection number C 78.
