Description:
Tibet, 18th c.H. 16,8 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a lotus-base with his right hand lowered in vitarkamudra while the left is resting on his lap, wearing monastic robe including a mantle draped over his left shoulder, its border incised with scrolling tendrils, his naked body-parts cold-gilded, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes, traces of painted facial details, his blue-coloured hair continuing into the ushnisha and topped with a lotus-bud.
