On a rocky pedestal surrounded by snakes, the long-bearded military general and the God of War, Guan Yu, is riding on the famous horse "Red Hare" (Chi Tu), wearing finely detailed armor with raised designs. His face shows a severe expression with contracted eyebrows. His right hand holding an open book inscribed "zhi zai chun qiu", while the left holds his weapon "Guan Dao" (missing here). He is accompanied by his two loyal guards, Guan Ping and Zhou Cang, each dressed in their charateristic armor.
