The deities depicted with dragon head are the Taoist dragon kings of the East. The gods of the earth are higher Taoist deities, subordinate only to the highest three pure ones. There are a total of 9 lei (groups) of gods for the earth, in each lei there are four, therefore a total of 36 gods for the earth. The flags were executed in the style of the 16th century. Ink and colors on paper, framed under glass.
