Fan painting. Ink and very light colour on paper, framed under glass. Sign. renshen lixia qian sanri xie si qianweng xuezhang xiansheng dong(?) muzhai cao gian (painted by Cao Qian ... three days before chinese Summer beginning in the renshen year ...) with seals cao and qian.
From an old German private collection, acquired at Lempertz Cologne, 1.12.1981, lot 259 (copy of invoice received) - Signs of age, slightly stained, minimally dam.
