Description:
Mongolia, late 19th/ early 20th c.43 x 30.5 cm
Seated in the centre of the painting in vajrasana on a lotus base with a bowl containing ritual attributes to its front, her right hand in varadamudra, the left in vitarkamudra holding stem of lotus flowering along her left arm, feet, hand and forehead adorned with an eye, wearing sari, scarf, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, her hair combed in a chignon and a double halo behind her, the reverse with some mantras.
From an important private collection of Tibetan art, acquired in the 1990s - Minim. traces of age, very few stains
