Of blossom-shape, the deep sides, the exterior with a concentric rib are covered in a crackled pale celadon glaze changing into deep green in the interior and at the stand.

Compare a larger washer (22,9 cm) with foliate rim and two horizontal ribs on the exterior, in the Nakamura Kinenkan Museum, Ishikawa, illustrated in Seaki Toji Zenshu, Vol. 12, no. 78, p. 86. A similar example is preserved in the collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei and is published in the ‚Illustrated Catalogue of Sung Dynasty Porcelain in the National Palace Museum.
