Description:
Tibet, 17th/ 18th c.H. 23,6 cm
Standing in pratyalidhasana on a separate cast lotus base surmounted by a pair of figures, his raised right hand brandishing the vajra while the left originally holding the noose, wearing tiger-skin skirt, elephant-skin draped over his shoulders, mala of severed heads, each with a blue coloured hairdo, jewellery set with turquoise beads, his face displaying a fierce expression with bulging eyes below raised eyebrows, open mouth showing teeth and fangs, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments and his red coloured hairdo secured with a tiara ornamented with five skulls, the reverse with a covered relic cavity, unsealed.
