Each ink and colors on paper. 1) Four Flower paintings and four poems. Paintings signed: “In the summer of the wuzi year (1948) painted by Song Junfang.” Calligraphies signed: “Shou Nie from Shaoxing”. Song Junfang was a woman painter and the wife of Shou Nie (1889-1950), who was a famous seal carver; 2) Leaning Pine Tree in the Mountains. Painted by Wang Jun. Signed: “In the year 69 (1969) respectfully painted after a poem by Chairman Mao.” One double seal: “Wang Jun”; 3) Flowers and Bird. On the reverse poem ‘Boat trip to the Red Cliff’ (chibi fu) by Su Shi. Calligraphy signed: Deng Jigang. Second half 20th century. 4) Chrysanthemums. Signed: “Painted by ..Shanseng Hua Yi in the Xiangguang jingshe studio.” One seal: “Hua Yi huishi”. On the reverse three poems of the Tang dynasty. 5) Kingfisher and Hydrangea. Signed: “In the dingchou year (1937)…, painted by Gan Xian.” One seal of the artist. 6) Two Tigers in the Snow at Full Moon. Signed: “In the guihai year (1923) painted by Dan Ru wiping off the sweat.” On the reverse: Zhongkui Riding on a Mule with two Ghosts. Signed: “Ten thousand miles on clouds. In the summer in the sixth month at leisure by a window in the rain occasionally painted by Han Ru at the age of twenty five.” One seal of the artist: “Han Ru”. Four collector’s seals. 7) Old Pine Tree. Signed: “In the summer of the xinsi year (1941) painted for Mister Douwen by Liu … from Lujiang.” One seal by the artist. On the reverse calligraphy with a discussion of the Lanting tie, signed: “For the Buddhist master Mister Douwen, in the summer of the gengchen year (1940), Pang Guojun.” Two seals of the artist: “Guojusn yin” etc.
