Description:
Tibet, 18th c.H. 15,3 cm
Copper alloy, fire-gilded. She is venerated as the "Mother of all Buddhas" and belongs to the triad of the "Long Life", together with Buddha Amitayus and the White Tara. Five of her hand attributes are missing, the remaining three show the Amrita vase with the water of life, the double vajra and the Buddha image of Amitabha, re-sealed.
Collection Eugen Turi (1920 - 2016), Munich, according to records acquired in Bavaria in the 1950s and 60s, documented in a photo from the 1970s (preserved)- Minor traces of age, attributes partly lost
