Tibeto-Chinese, 18th c.
H. 35,2 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with his raised right hand holding the hilt of the sword, his left in vitarkamudra originally holding the stem of a lotus flowering along his left shoulder, wearing dhoti, its border finely cast with stylized flowerheads, scarf draped around his shoulders, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, smiling lips, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, his hair combed in a chignon topped with a lotus bud and secured with a tiara, resealed.
