Description:

North-East India, Pala period, ca. 12th c.

Both Panchika and Hariti seated in lalitasana on a rectangular throne, their right hands holding the jewel and the left supporting each a child, wearing dhoti and sari, bejewelled, their faces displaying a serene expression, their hair combed in a chignon secured with a tiara, between them rises a tree from the base supporting some figures and the base of the throne with various worshippers.
