Japan, marked Hidemitsu (Shûkô) kansei 秀光監製, Meiji period
The vase with lobed body, decorated with a cast dragon with boldly incised scales, flames and whiskers emerging from the wall, windung around the neck of the vase holding a crystal tama in its claws. Dark patinated bronze, details accentuated with gold and silver. Cast mark at the base.
From a South German private collection, acquired prior to 2007 - Minor wear, only few very tiny chips to the rim
