AN ELABORATE SILVER MOUNTED CUT CRYSTAL GLASS WINE JAR

Bulbous jug made of cut, colourless crystal glass. Opulent silver mount with sculptural putto on rocailles with grapes, foliage and flamboyants. Cartouche on the front with engraved coat of arms, volute handle with herm. Partially gilt interior. Company's mark, German hallmarks, 800 standard and model no. 81675 inside lid, on rim and lid Austrian marks for foreign silver items. Slightly restored.
