TWO TROMPE D'OEIL FISH TUREENS

Volkstedt, ca. 1770 and probably lmenau, 19th century
L. 22/25 cm
Lidded tureen with platter in the shape of a trout ‘blue’, served with parsley on a plate with shell relief, Volkstedt, around 1770, fork mark in underglaze blue. Chip, small firing crack. Carp tureen probably Ilmenau, without mark, worn, chip.
