Kotta labour bill, May 1778: Staffirer Hittel Pyramus et Thisbe with Pyramid and Postument and Cupid - October 1778: Former Zapf ... Piese Pyramo et Thysbe Hittel painted another example in 1779. (cf. Peters 1991, p.7 and fig. 3). The lovers Pyramus and Thisbe from Babylon find themselves in double suicide as a result of a tragic mistake.
