When exporting cultural property from the EU, the European Convention on the Protection of the Archaeological Heritage (1993) and the UNESCO Convention of 1970 must be observed.
For the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, export permits are applied for through the Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe.
